Weight Problem

This young widowed woman functioned as a well-adjusted individual in her professional and social life, except for her weight problem. She reportedly had exhausted every possible weight reduction method without any success and as a last trial to solve her dilemma resorted to try Past Life Therapy.

During our initial interview certain patterns of fear surfaced from her subconscious mind. Whenever she consumed pizza, ice cream and other junk food, she felt “really good,” but at night before going to sleep she felt “terrible remorse.” Each time when she had successfully lost a few pound, she felt happy with her mirror image, but as soon as she walked away from the mirror, an awesome feeling and thoughts of being too skinny, too bony came over her. With those thoughts and feelings a gripping fear would take hold of her body and mind implying that it is very unhealthy to be thin.

It was obvious that her subconscious mind did not support her effort in loosing weight due to circumstances and decisions made in past lives. The out of context feelings, thoughts and fears associated with loosing weight were triggers to her subconscious programs.

I asked her to close her eyes and describe how it feels to be skinny. She told me it feels like my pants are falling of my body and I am loosing my shirt. The connection to that subconscious program was established and the client started to describe a previous life in a country where it was very dry and hot. She experienced being a dark skinned child and the first thing she noticed about herself was her legs, like two toothpicks she said, they do not meet at the top of my thighs.

She described her surroundings as a small village, close to lots of water, huts without walls and everybody was very skinny. . Her stomach hurt and she described the pain as a “big hole in her stomach.” Contaminated food and starvation led to the little girl’s death.

Following her past life death experience she immediately found herself in a prenatal state with her current life mother. She did not experience any hindering or traumatic programming during her life in the womb. Her birthing experience was irrelevant to her eating disorder. Exploring her feeding pattern as a newborn child, she was denied mother's milk and bonding thru breast feeding.

On the way home from the hospital, even though the infant was in her mother’s arms, she felt not connection, love or bonding with her mother. She looked at her newborn without feelings or loving tenderness, her thoughts and feelings were preoccupied with other issues. Still feeling the prenatal connection, the little one felt extremely lonely and unwanted.

Her very first feeling of security and bonding to food was established when she was bottle fed. She said in her own words: “the only feeling of love and security I knew was when I was ravenously consuming the content of my bottle, because this was the only time when my mother would hold me.”

In her early childhood her father suffered a heart attack and her mother from that day forward devoted her entire life to pampering her husband, further denying her daughter the much needed and craved for love and attention.

The pattern from her previous life experience as the starving young girl who needed food so she would not feel that “hole in her stomach anymore” to feel good was further reinforced through the subconscious association in her current life of her first feeling good experience, being held by her mother during bottle feeding.

Having consciously integrated her past life and early childhood experiences, explained to this individual why she felt skinny after loosing a few pounds and why her bones felt so heavy all her life. She finally could understand the reason behind her fears, phobias and underlying emotional needs associated with food.

At the conclusion of the session, the client consciously released the old programs from her subconscious memory banks, including decisions made in her past life and those as an infant which no longer served her. We concluded with a cellular clearing and Amiel energy balancing.
